at Menla with Rebecca Wong, Kersten Dryden & Michael G. Burbank
Treat your beloved and yourself to a memorable getaway. Reconnect, relax, and luxuriate in our breathtaking Dewa Spa and explore a variety of ways to connect, have fun, and say I love you in a sacred and peaceful environment.
As partners, we mirror each other in our lives, growing both individually and within the relationship. This retreat is designed to facilitate an even deeper connect and love by incorporating mindful ways to receive and express and share love for each other through meditation and silence, interaction, play, yoga, and massage. This program is open to all couples who wish to immerse themselves in a celebration of the spiritual path of romantic union.
In these Wild Woman Discussion Groups, we journey together in remembering who we are, what we are made of, and why we are here. Facilitated by Rebecca Wong, LCSW-R, relationship therapist, mentor to therapists and change-makers, and host of the Practice Of Being Seen podcast.
We'll meet online from 12-12:50pm EST the last Thursday of the month for 6 consecutive months, April 26th 2018 through September 27th, 2018.
All proceeds generated by these discussion groups support production of the Practice Of Being Seen podcast.

Menla Mountain Retreat in the Catskill Mountains
Every woman has a divine source within her waiting to be seen, held, nurtured and known. Right now, we’re living through a collective process of deep transformation. You feel like you’re in a “crisis of not knowing,” and you’re not alone in this. Though you long to be the change you wish to see in the world, you know there are illusions and disconnects that hold you back and keep you stuck in a fear loop. Are you ready to see yourself, really see yourself? Are you ready to see yourself in your full truth, imperfections and all? We invite you to join our intimate Goddess Awakening Retreat spanning over 3 days, in New York’s Hudson Valley (just 90-miles north of NYC). The divine feminine within you is calling for you to tune in. Goddess energy is asking you to awaken to do your own personal healing so you can find the strength and the resources to give back to the collective.
When you stand solidly in your own truths your insecurities and fears become your spiritual guides and teachers. Horses naturally help you find that solid ground and hold those truths, unwaveringly. Our time together will include ample experiential equine healing + rejuvenation. You’ll build confidence in your own reflection through gentle observation. Over two full days we’ll be diving into how you see yourself; your feelings, your observations of your shadows and your relationships. We’ll create a healing environment to nourish and nurture you that you’ll take back home and share with your clients and the all of the important people in your life. We’ll be planting seeds and exploring with curiosity the natural world around us, our intuitive and sensory experiences with our equine friends, ourselves and each other.
Horseplay for couples sessions and events are fun playful activities that help sculpt relationships. You and your partner will be able to try out new thoughts, behaviors, beliefs and patterns without threatening your emotional or physical well-being. Our playful approach will help to create a sense of safety so that you make new connections that find their way into your everyday life. Your relationships will be the focus of our observations.
No horse experience required. This is an unmounted event (meaning you’ll be hanging out with but not ON the horses).
Talking to your Kids about S.E.X.: tools to help parents create open dialogues with kids of all ages. 6:30PM Thursday, April 23rd at Bambini Pediatrics. It’s not about a single talk, or even twelve dozen. But it does begin early on. As early as you start to teach your children what to call his nose and her eyes, you are also sending messages about what they should call their body parts and how comfortable to be with all these parts of themselves and in talking about them with you. Just like a belly button is a belly button and an ear is an ear. A penis is a penis and a vulva is a vulva.
